Matryoshka Collection

My concept is about Russian dolls. Since my childhood, they have been a medium for my Russian heritage. I designed this collection for the bold and unafraid woman; someone who embraces her complexity and uses fashion as a form of self-reflection. My goal is for my customer to feel powerful and seen, wearing pieces that mirror their own inner narratives.

Each garment functions as wearable art, crafted through layered processes such as embroidery, textile manipulation, and the incorporation of hair. This collection is not just about clothing, but about uncovering the many versions of oneself that exist within.

Each look represents a different version of myself, from the protective outer shell to the vulnerable core within. Through this collection, I explore duality: the balance between strength and fragility, concealment and expression. By pairing structured, reclaimed leather with light, fluid fabrics like organza, I create tension between armor and vulnerability; a reflection of the layered selves we all carry.
